This syrup helps stimulate bowel movements, making hard, dry stools easier to eliminate.
If this is your problem, here’s a natural remedy to help you go to the bathroom!
Did you know that the difficulty to evacuate is most often caused by poor eating habits and lifestyle?
Since it’s a discomfort that occurs in the daily life of many people, there are several solutions to alleviate this problem, such as the homemade syrup that you’re about to learn.
The homemade plum syrup helps to stimulate bowel movements and facilitates the elimination of hard and dry stools.
Plum contains a large amount of fiber, is an excellent natural laxative and even contains probiotics (which contribute to intestinal health), prevents constipation and improves the involuntary movements performed by the organs of the digestive tract.
To make it you will need:
- 10 black plums;
- Juice of 1 lemon;
- 100 ml of water.
Wash the plums well (you don’t need to remove the peel), cut them in half, remove the stone and put them in a blender.
Add the lemon juice (freshly squeezed) and the water and blend for two to three minutes until smooth, store in a glass jar with a lid and refrigerate.
If you are going through a period of occasional constipation, take this syrup as follows:
- 3 tablespoons on an empty stomach;
- 3 tablespoons in the morning;
- 2 tablespoons in the afternoon.
For chronic constipation, take higher doses until bowel function normalizes.
And if you just want to prevent constipation, take two to three tablespoons of this syrup per day.
